As you can see the Nike swoosh is flipped in reverse, this is a noticeable difference that can separate this collaboration from previous renditions. The OG Air Jordan logo remains in its original place on the upper collar. The brown leather is a noticeable transition from Travis Scott’s previous models, yet it still feels like it belongs with the other “Cactus Jack” entries.

This is new design in a few ways but never strays from the Air Jordan 1 framework. The vintage Nike Air tongue tab remains. The white leather looks impeccable with the aged dark leather. Streaks of black leather can be seen in all the right places and really compliment the black laces. The cream soles were a nice choice given that almost any sole color would look clean on this shoe. This reworking of a classic is something that cannot be missed by fans of the Air Jordan 1. The details added by the Hip Hop phenom Travis Scott pays homage to the original but takes on its own form.

As you can see the Travis Scott Cactus Jack logo can be seen carved into the backside of the shoe, making it unmistakably his. The Nike Swoosh can be seen meeting its end on one side of the heel counter, leaving a fresh blend of black, brown and white leather. With this shoe being one of the most anticipated releases of 2019 we can expect to fight tooth and nail to get a pair. The Internet was devastated when they sold out on Nike.com in under 60 seconds upon the first drop. So It looks like Travis Scott and Nike might have a bright future together, and these classic Air Jordan remixes are just what the fans want.
